Who is DJ BLAZITA?

The Hottest Chic in the Game, DJ Blazita, resides in Brooklyn, NY. Blazita originally started DJing while attending the Big Ten’s Penn State University – rated the number 1 party school for several years. Starting off as a radio personality in high school and then later for The Lion 90.7FM, she frequently hosted freestyle battles, interviewed special guests, and later began spinning mix shows. During her tenure at Penn State she helped her sorority, Sigma Lambda Gamma, along with the Urban Legends DJs coordinate yearly DJ Battles featuring NYC’s HOT 97FM DJs. She also rocked private parties, clubs, and Greek life events across central Pennsylvania.

Sharing the tables with many well-known DJs, Blazita spins parties throughout the Northeast and Midwest. She loves to mix on the fly to control the crowd and plays the music that makes people feel good. DJ Blazita is a member of Hip Hop Sisters led by the legendary MC Lyte, which boasts the most talented up and coming women in the industry. MC Lyte commented, “Love how the movement flows…Blazita is a force to be reckoned with”.

To help up and coming artists market themselves and to self-promote, Blazita is also mix tape DJ. Her mix cds have been featured on MTV Mixtape Mondays more than 8 times already this year and have been reviewed on Rapmullet.com, Thickonline.com (Canada), in Scratch Magazine, and ThaHood Magazine (Germany). In New York City, Blazita spins private events, lounges, and clubs and has even tested the battlefield here and there. In 2005, she participated in the first ever all female DJ battle competition, She’s My DJ with legendary hosts DJ Red Alert and Ralph McDaniels. This year, Blazita has been welcomed several times as a guest DJ by The Bash Brothers on Sirius Satellite Radio Hip Hop Nation. She hopes to introduce her own radio show in the near future.
